Cabinda 2022

Perspectives

Breweries in Angola and Mozambique, for example, can serve as anchors to exchange business cards, sign pre-contracts, and conduct business. Agribusiness will be one of the main components of this forum, aiming to establish the importation of a certain product, whether from Mozambique or another participating country, through this connectivity platform. For instance, a Mozambican cashew producer might identify an Angolan industrialist in the sector, enabling them to engage in trade with mutual benefits.

It should be noted that, from a local perspective, Cabinda is currently the largest producer of goats and pigs in Angola. In agriculture, coffee and cocoa production has been resumed, with initial exports underway. In the oil and gas sector, producer countries can exchange experiences with their Angolan partners. Although it is divided into thematic panels, the idea is to bring together business people from the subcontinent in a nearly informal format to discuss the same topic, taking advantage of the "Business & Connectivity Forum" to identify other strong sectors in Cabinda, such as the blue economy, timber, and the cross-cutting nature of tourism and its beaches.
