The event serves as a platform for entrepreneurs to exchange business cards, sign pre-contracts, and conduct business transactions. The Lobito Corridor and the agribusiness sector will be the main components of this forum, with the aim of establishing the importation of specific products, whether from Angola or another participating country, through this "connectivity" platform.
For example, a fish importer might identify an Angolan industrialist in the same field and start engaging in trade exchanges with mutual benefits. It is worth noting that, from a local perspective, Benguela is currently one of the largest producers of fish and salt in our country, and in the agricultural sector, the province has the capacity to export its agricultural surplus.
In the Oil and Gas sector, the Lobito refinery, which is set to be constructed in the coming years, could serve countries that do not produce hydrocarbons, leveraging the experiences of Angolans and their regional partners.
Although it is divided into thematic panels, the idea is to bring together, in an almost informal format, businesspeople from the subcontinent to discuss the same theme. The aim is to use the "Business & Networking Forum" to identify other strong sectors, such as the blue economy, tourism potential, and beaches.
